The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. The watch is Ross, Adams, Pike and Scioto counties.
* WINDS…Southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 25 percent.
* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
Reschedule any planned burning, if possible. Conditions will be
favorable for rapid fire growth.
