State Route 650 in Lawrence County has been reopened at U.S. 52 and Hanging Rock following its closure due to high water.
Although S.R. 650 is open, other closures remain in effect in District 9:
- S.R. 73 between the ramps at U.S. 52 and the Second Street Bridge at Portsmouth in Scioto County;
- S.R. 239 between U.S. 52 and S.R. 73 at West Portsmouth in Scioto County; and
- S.R. 220 at C.R. 51 (River Road), south of Waverly, in Pike County.
Motorists are reminded that crossing any closed route is strictly prohibited, and they should avoid traveling on roadways which remain open but where standing water may be present.
