The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

following areas, in Kentucky, Bracken, Grant, Lewis, Mason,

Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson. In Ohio, Adams, Brown,

Highland, Hocking, Pike, Ross, and Scioto.

* From late tonight through late Thursday night.

* Rainfall from showers through the day will cause the ground to

become saturated. More showers will move over the area tonight into Thursday night. The additional rainfall from these showers will bring the potential for overland flooding.

* Rises will also occur on creeks, streams, and rivers. Some of

these waterways may come out of their banks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

People in the watch area, especially those living in areas prone

to flooding, should be prepared to take action should flooding

develop. Monitor the latest forecasts and be alert for possible
