State Rep candidate forum live on Facebook

The Friends of Portsmouth will be hosting a District 90 State Representative Candidate Forum from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Matt Seifert with the Friends of Portsmouth explained that due to space limitations, the event will be invite-only; however, The Friends of Portsmouth will be live-streaming the event from their Facebook page.

“Friends of Portsmouth, a community group focused on bringing awareness to local issues, transparency to local government, and uniting the community around common interests, will be hosting a Candidate Forum among all six candidates for State Representative for Ohio’s 90th District,” a press release from Seifert stated.
State Representative candidates include Republicans Brian Baldridge, Gina Collinsworth, Justin Pizzulli and Scottie Powel and Democrats Adrienne Buckler and Joni Fearing.
Seifert, himself will the moderator for the event. In addition to being a Friends of Portsmouth member he is also a local attorney with Johnson, Oliver and Howard LPA in Portsmouth.
“The event will include seven questions over the 90 minute time period, and each candidate will have an opportunity to answer five of those questions, as well as make opening and closing remarks,” the release read. “In order to make sure the community is properly represented, Friends of Portsmouth is accepting question submissions from the public via their Facebook Page.”
