***Update: According to reports, Jonathan McCormick has been found.***

A Minford family is reaching out to the community in hopes of bringing home a Minford teen, who went missing early Sunday. Brittany McCormick says her brother, Jonathan McCormick, 18, of Minford, was last seen early Sunday morning around 4 a.m. He had left his mother’s house, where he resides on Taylor Hill, and was walking next door to his sister’s house. The two properties are connected with a small plot of land and a pond.
Jonathan is approximately 6 ft. tall, has brown eyes and reddish-brown hair. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a camouflage jacket.
Brittany said that though her brother is 18, he’s younger cognitively. In addition to some learning disabilities, she says her brother also has tourette syndrome.
“This is going on three days since anyone has seen or heard from him,” the desperate sister said.
She added that the family has notified the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone with any information regarding Jonathan’s whereabouts are asked to contact his mother Belinda McCormick at 740-820-4428, his sister Brittany on Facebook or at 1-740-303-6258 or reach out to local law enforcement.
